Tanzania’s Renewable Energy Vision

As Tanzania works towards diversifying its energy mix, the country aims to increase its renewable energy share, which is currently below 50%. Solar energy presently contributes less than 5% of this mix. In line with its goals to mitigate the impact of traditional energy sources, Tanzania plans to expand energy access to 75% by 2035, with renewable energy deployment playing a pivotal role in achieving this target.

“In an era where sustainability is crucial, Solis is at the forefront of delivering solutions that combine efficiency with environmental responsibility,” said Babalwa Bungane, Deputy Africa Market Manager for Solis. “Whether for residential, commercial, or utility-scale projects, Solis products are renowned for their reliability, safety, and performance. Our advanced energy solutions consistently meet the highest standards of sustainability, making Solis a trusted partner for energy providers worldwide.”
